    Hi,
I'm a newbie. My server admin just installed Modx for me to test.

When I create documents, they don't get added to the resource tree (below "Web").

I've created several. The only way I can get back to them after closing is via Search.

    Thanks.

Are you the admin Super User for the site? If the server admin is (and not you), you probably don't have a Context Access ACL entry giving you permission for the 'web' context.

        Thanks BobRay.

I've passed this info on to the admin. I think he gave me administrator rights, but I can't get into modx to check it myself while he is troubleshooting. He seemed to think the problem might be due to an old version of PHP.

I'll post what I find tomorrow. By the way, looking forward to receiving your book (I ordered it today).

It's all good now. Old version of PHP was the problem. I'm up and running. Thanks for your suggestions
