    Hi All

    wondered if you could help. I have just completed my first site in Revolution, moving from Evolution.

    I created the site in a different folder within the main site and then copied and pasted the files over. Not sure if this is the best. I have changed the path's within the Config.inc.php file to point to the new location but the links are still pointing to the old site.

    Anyone have any idea's

    The new site is http://www.osteopractitioner.com, but as you will see the top level navigation point to the site that I created within a subfolder called "newsite". This is located http://www.osteopractitioner.com/newsite.

    Everything should point to www.osteopractitioner,com.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as I cannot find any tutorials on transferring a site from folder to folder, only Server to Server. Not sure of the same principles apply.

    Thanks in advance.

      Could be to do with your ht.access file. Whats the value for RewriteBase?

      It should just be:

      RewriteBase /

        Actually it's to do with you base tag. But only on your home page.

        You home page has
        <base href="http://www.osteopractitioner.com/newsite/" />

        Where as the other pages are correct and have
        <base href="http://www.osteopractitioner.com/" />

        Is this hard coded and have you cleared cache etc.

          Hi,

          The cache has been cleared and the base ref is not hard coded. I have it within the site as a chunk with the following code.

          <base href="[[++site_url]]" />

            Run install (or setup for Revolution) in upgrade mode. That will usually straighten out the paths.
