    Hello All,

I really want to get the Big Brother Google analytics plugin working on my site but it seems to install fine but then just fails when I try and launch it.

I am using the latest (I believe only) release (http://modx.com/extras/package/bigbrother) and also running Modx 2.20 pl2

I click on 'Google Analytics' under 'components' in the main screen in says

"Verifying if SimpleXML and cURL PHP extensions are activated before proceeding to the login screen"

(note I have check and I DO have both these enabled) then it shows a pop up stating

    "FAILED
    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/2.2.16 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.16 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.8.8 Server at www.MYDOMAIN.COM Port 80

Anyone got any suggestions to get this working?

    Thanks

This the returned message from the connector or a plain error message (blank page) ?

        Hi Lossendae,

        Sorry for delay.

Its a modx styled error message not a white screen...

I have attached a screen shot. It looks like a great extra I would love to get it working.

        Any pointers appreciated.

Do you use a custom url scheme ? Custom manager directory ?

I have furls turned on but dont do anthing special just the default settings to my knowledge and again the manager is just in 'manager'.

As far as I am aware the install is pretty standard.

            Thanks

              Hello Lossendae,

I appreciate it has been some time since I first contacted you...

...I have since discovered what was wrong... completely my fault - Somehow I have dropped the 'config.core.php' file from the root of my site?! - Too many late nights coding I think.

Anyhow thank your for originally looking into it for me. This may help you help some other modx'er that cant keep his files in order - sigh!

              Kind regards,
              S
