install error but packages installed anyway...

    I have never seen an error like this on our hosting service -- and I have installed many modx packages to our site.

    Yet the packages appear to have installed since the site works properly etc.

    cURL is installed on the server according to phpinfo() -- have this issue on both dev server AND production server -- could the packages be corrupted??

    Any comments etc.??

      Ditto, been an issue for me since updating to 2.2

      Has happened on two separate hosts as well.

          I've been seeing this for months, on multiple installs, different servers, etc.

          Spent lotta time trying to find some place where it's not enabled (some hidden php.ini file??) only to come to the conclusion that if it looks like a duck (modx php.info), walks like a duck (php.ini direct edit), and talks like a duck (phpconfig in cpanel), it's probably a duck and actually is enabled.

            I suspect it's actually a timeout problem when the MODx repository is running slow; it generates the error then tries again x number of times before giving up altogether, so it eventually gets through, after inundating the error log with these errors.
