I set up a media source in production server similar to dev server, which worked very well.
However, despite trying many different settings, I cannot see any files or folders at all.
I have tried with both absolute and relative and all kinds of paths etc.
NO ACLs are applied at all to the media source and I am working with it as an Administrator!!
    Thank you, Tom

    • Did you create the media source by duplicating the original Filesystem source, then changing its paths? Or did you create a new one?

I think I modified the original one...I know I did this on my dev server and it works fine.
I'm doing a complete new install and will duplicate the existing Filesystem source to make the new media source.
If one is not supposed to change or remove the original Filesystem source, this should be in the documentation or shown on the screen or otherwise made not possible to do so...
I will file a bug later...

New install and duplicating the existing filesystem to the new/second media source did the trick.
Thank you for your help. It should be in the documentation that the first media source should not be modified or removed.
Also had to do a lot of experimenting with the media source to get it working right for the subdomain, had to use absolute full paths, but now that I understand how I did the first one, the second ones should follow readily.
I will try to remember to file a documentation bug...
