    Okay i'm kind of new to wayfinder. I understand some of it but not sure why this is not working.
    I'm basically trying to setup navigation with a submenu however the sub-pages are not being displayed.

    Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure what's going on with it.

    Thanks
    Riz

      you are using Revolution, correct?
      if so the wayfinder call needs two square brackets
      [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`676` &blah=`blah` etc...    ]]

      leave out the ! if you want it cached

        As far as I can tell, all of the OP's tags are correct Evolution-style tags. It's possible that the tags with PHX in them need to be all on one line.

          I 'don't do' evolution - apologies for commenting about stuff I am not familiar with...

          two (or three) comments/questions
          1st - wouldn't it be nice if people read and acted on Bob's signature
          2nd - does not a snippet call have two [[ to start with in both evo and revo? (I'll be honest here I just looked it up http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Tag+Syntax )

          And therefore should not line 22 of the OP's code start [[!Wayfinder ... and not [!Wayfinder ?

          I should have just left out my original revo comment!

            hey everybody

            1.) sorry about not posting the version. defo should have done that. modx evolution 1.0.5
            2.) i thought the syntax was correct but you may be right about the phx.

            Also, where and how do I use the debugger for wayfinder. even point me to a link and i can read up but yeah how do you use it.

            thanks

                Cached snippet have two brackets in both, but an uncached snippet in Evo looks like this:

                [!SnippetName!]

                  evo uncached = [! and cached [[ not in the docs I linked to

                  I must say revo's syntax seems a big improvement

                    http://bobsguides.com/revolution-tags.html wink

                    I certainly like the Revo-style tags a lot better, and they're *much* faster and easier to parse.

                      hey

                      thanks for the help. I was able to solve most of it. It was the placement of my code and also the parent level parameter was wrong. However I have another problem with it now.
                      I am unable to hide that actual parts of the submenu. When I navigate to the page, the submenus are already showing unless I click another link. In addition, when I click the top level heading, I want to be able to see the content that is in that and i'm not sure how to achieve it.

                      If this sounds confusing let me know, i'll try rewording it.

                      Ex:
                      Overview ( want to be able to see this content )
                      ---->How Xonerate works
                      ---->Trial Information
                      Usage and Application ( want to be able to see this content, don't want this to be able to show unless clicked )
                      ---->Protocols
                      Diseases Controlled
                      More Information
                      Sell Sheets
                      Downloads

                      I tried adding &hideSubMenus=`1` but that didn't prove to completely resolve the situation.

                      Wayfinder Snippet call
                      <nav id="ProductMenu">
                                          [!Wayfinder? &startId=`676` &level=`2` &parentRowTpl=`XonerateParentRowTpl`!]
                                      </nav>

                      XonerateParentRowTpl
                      <li[+wf.classes+]>
                          <a href="[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]" class="parent">[+wf.linktext+]</a>
                          [+wf.wrapper+]
                      </li>

                      Please help, been at this for a few days and it's really starting to bug the out of me.

                      A few notes as well and i'm not sure if the first one is right because as I said earlier, I duplicated this from another page.

                      1.) The pages are uncached.
                      2.) Modx Evolution 1.0.5
                      3.) Wayfinder 2.0
