    I am messing around with Articles...

    I currently have it working with custom templates, CSS, and active comments etc.

    In my template I have the following in the sidebar:
    <div class="sidemenuBlog">
      <h4>Latest Posts</h4>
      <ul>
      [[+latest_posts]]
      </ul>
    </div>

    <div class="sidemenuBlog">
    [[+comments_enabled:is=`1`:then=`
      <h4>Latest Comments</h4>
      <ul>
      [[+latest_comments]]
      </ul>
    `]]
    </div>

    This works great with the Articles blog container page and the individual post pages themselves. I have other regular pages outside of the Articles system. I would like the "Latest Posts" & "Latest Comments" to appear in the sidebar on these pages as well? I tried adding the above code to my regular page template but nothing shows?

    Any tips here?

    Thanks!

      Use the packaged Articles snippet:

      [[!Articles? &container=`ID OF CONTAINER`]]
      [[+latest_comments]]

      etc.

        just add
        [[Articles? &container=`id of blog container`]]

        to the template you are trying to use the blog sidebar on
