I've done a lot of internet research on this but cannot figure it out.

I'm using MODX Revolution 2.2.0-pl2 (traditional)

My understanding is the umask in linux sets the file and folder permissions for items created in the admin tool. I have a umask set to 0022. When I create files and folders directly from command line, it works fine. My application running as the same user as I am when I'm on the command line, but it appears that ModX is overriding the umask and setting file permissions to 700. I need to find how to fix this.

    Please help.
