Quip Blog behaving badly

Hi Guys, this is my first post, so I'd appreciate any help I can get.

I'm working SEO on a website that runs on ModX. The blog function is very important for SEO purposes, however the Quip blog that's been created for the website (before we started the work) has been giving us headaches for weeks now.

Here are my developer's notes on the issue :


The site http://australiansurftours.com.au has MODX Revolution2.1.0(traditional) and quip add-on. There is a blog section,

The current site behaves a bit wierd, when you go to blog at http://australiansurftours.com.au/surf-tours-surfcamp-blog/ and click on the “read more”, then the page goes to home page instead of the page which is supposed to show the all the comments.

If you remove the second line, the thread post content is shown correctly with comments are missing.

We may remove the current blog and rebuild this section.

So basically if we can't get this blog to function properly, we are going to compeltely remove it and build a new one. But I don't want to do that yet, if there is a way of fixing the code somehow. I want to use it.

Any ideas ?

I'm not seeing any code.

Make sure you put code in between the [ code ] brackets (minus the space) or it may get eaten..

oh, lol. I just noticed that.

I'll post the code again, even though the problem was solved. Thank God. We upgdaded the Revolution to the latest release and it worked like a charm !

Glad you got the problem solved. Be sure to tweet a link with #MODX next time you make a post - I promise you it will give it extra attention (and it's how I got here in the first place too)!

how on earth do you post code in here ?

Lol it does seem a bit more restrictive than last time I tried...

There's also an icon in the toolbar with "<>" that pastes the begin and ending in for you.
