    Hi,

I’m not sure if this is the correct place, but I’ll post it here anyway.

After playing with my site (http://dev.feastiality.biz/ login is: sdf/sdfsdf or you can create your own) and following the NewsPublisher tutorial to add recipes to a collaborative book, I’ve found a problem. Basically, MCE causes drawing problems when you use Mootools to slide the div on/off the screen. Any of the recipe links will show this, but only if you’re logged into site.

I’ll be removing this at some point and will be using just a basic text entry, with probably bbcode instead.

    Thanks,
    Luke.

Not sure what the problem is but my best guess would be that it has something to do with how NewsPublisher and/or Jot are outputting the TinyMCE instance. MooTools and TinyMCE will work together. After all, when you create a new document within the manager you’re basically loading an instance of TinyMCE and MooTools at the same time. Hope this points you in the right direction. smiley

It’s not a problem with loading it, it’s a problem with doing effects with it. I’ve already talked to teh guys in #mootools, who state it’s a problem with the iframe.

Hmm...if it’s a problem with the iframe then I bet it’s because there is a mootools effect that is targeting iframes on the page. I’m wondering if the effect could be altered to target a specific class or ID.
