    So, it turns out I'm not the super smarty pants I thought I was.

    Crazy K9s site is still working (yay) but I'm having what seems to be permission issues with my next site (anebellesque(dot)com and .com.au) Can't get the databases to upload properly and keep getting Parse errors.

    But I shall stick with it and keep perservering.

    @ Susan - I received your email through the contact page. So it seems aside from the font changing in the header all is well.

    Thank you.

      What is the problem with the database? Newer versions of MySQL can't use the
      Type=MyISAM

      you need to edit the .sql files and change all of those to
      ENGINE=MyISAM

        Hi Susan,

        Thanks for that. From what I can see it is already "Engine=MyISAM"

        I just tried to copy old ftp files I had saved straight into the new install and can't get the UN/PW info. It also looks as though the install has reverted back to a previous version of Modx??

        I now have:
        Warning: include_once(MODX_MANAGER_PATH/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/anebell9/public_html/index.php on line 112

        Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'MODX_MANAGER_PATH/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/anebell9/public_html/index.php on line 112

        Fatal error: Class 'DocumentParser' not found in /home/anebell9/public_html/index.php on line 113

        From a quick google search I'm thinking it must have previously run on 9.6.2.
        Another thread in this forum says to check the config.inc but all seems ok from what I can tell.

        Another recommendation was that it is a PHP error and to disable snippets and plugins (?) Can I do this without accessing the back end or is there some way to find out what the site thinks the username / password is?
        MyPHP has what looks like a formula in the Manage Users pw cell... If this is the correct UN/PW combination, can I convert it in excel or something?

        Is there any way that by uploading old FTP files I can avoid having to backup with a saved .sql?
        I have a horrible feeling that the info in my backup isn't what it should be....

        EDITED TO ADD: I have been playing around on the .com version - anebellesque(dot)com
        This is the site I originally had, then bought .com.au and it was working fine with the .com being redirected to there.

        Once it was hacked I hosted .com hoping to restore it until the other could be fixed... now they are both broken :/ [ed. note: crazyk9s last edited this post 14 years, 9 months ago.]
