    Hi,
    I have simple site with images and so. I've created a folder(from the root, same context) where I wan to store my site in another language( cant work out babel issues). As you can imagine it supposed to contain same images and css styles as the main site but it doesn't.
    It's probably quite trivial but...

    Original site: blackflow.pl
    Site in the folder: blackflow.pl/en/

      If it's using the same template there shouldn't be a problem.

          <link href="../global.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

          Here your link reference is a relative one - that means different locations viewed from different folders.

          Or you write it absolutely, for example (assuming the css file is located there)
          <link href="/assets/css/global.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

          But even better is to insert the line
          <base href="[[++site_url]]" />
          into all the templates and refer to the file leaving out the leading backslash:
          href="assets/css/global.css"

            For whatever it's worth, this tutorial seems to make Babel sound all kinds of easy...

            http://designfromwithin.com/blog/2012/01/12/modx-multilingual-setting-up-babel-and-have-a-website-with-multible-languages/

            Additionally, I've been really happy with using a custom setting to call all my images, from wherever I want.

            I created a new setting just for images with the full absolute path so I can just use
            [[++images]]

            like this:
            href="[[++images]]image_name.jpg"

            In system settings, under create new setting.
