I'll have to look further into that I suppose. I got Notepad++ all tricked out with varying colors, I like that.
Right now I'm using Ace for elements, and every time I type an " it inserts two of the darn things. Occasionally that works great, but not every time I need one. I always end up pasting it into Notepad++ anyway, so i can run the indent by fold plugin to make sure everything's closed properly and looks pretty.

Converting everything over to static files would suit me best, although too time consuming to actually undertake.

It's beautiful! Once I get done with these other addons, I'll start packaging RO.IDEs so you can see what I see.

Sublime Text 2 is all you need,

I recently jumped the Sublime Text wagon and just can't go back. ST3 is currently in beta but has improved the Command Palette with Go to Symbol Definition in Project. Tested this in my CMP dropping the modx core folders in the side bar and thats it, Jumping to the class definitions in seconds whithout leaving the IDE. It allows for a lot of fine tunning and supports linux,mac and pc.
Some time has passed since the last post in this thread but i would like to hear what other devs are using.
