Use the freeze URI feature and set the URI manually.

Just set "Use Friendly Alias Path" at the System settings (FURL part) to No and you'll get just the alias of displayed resource.

I don't think that just disabling "Use Friendly Alias Path" is a satisfying solution for this issue. I'm just dealing with the same and I'm not able to find an alternative/workaround.

Let's say somebody is using three different wayfinder calls to display three navigations on a website. To make the navigations dynamic and easy to use for the client he would create three folders reflecting the position of the navigations on the website (e.g. left, right, top). So now the client can easily add items to the navigation by simply drag n drop them into the corresponding folder. Also he uses some containers to add a semantic structure to the alias path (about, news, products). This is were the dilemma begins.

I don't want modx to generate URLs like http://example.com/left/about/team.html. Disabling "Use Friendly Alias Path" would lead me to http://example.com/team.html, I don't want this either. The perfect solution would be to have an additional parameter in the resource settings where I can check "hide folder from Alias Path", which would generate the desired URL when e.g. activated on the left folder -> http://example.com/about/team.html

Maybe this is not needed and I'm just overlooking something here (in particular with Wayfinder). If so, I'd be glad to get an answer from you guys.

            Thanks in advance
