    R2.2.0 pl2

Just building my second site in R2.2.0. First one works a treat.

The manager in the second one is showing a few problems: drop down arrows aren't showing properly in FireFox (a niggle, and OK in Safari and Chrome), but the real issue is that when I select a static resource and hit 'OK', it closes the Manager window (in FF and Safari and Chrome).

I first had this problem when I upgraded, and it's still happening on a completely clean install.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Try changing the system settings compress_js and/or compress_css.

Thanks, Bob. Manager is still being closed as soon as I hit the OK button, sadly.
        • Works fine for me. I saved the chunk as chunk.test.html in assets/elements/chunks, and when it saved it came up with the chunk file's contents in the form field.

Do you actually have a file? This doesn't write the file initially, as far as I can tell, it only displays the file's contents. It will modify the file from the form field though.

OK, this is a bit bizarre:

I wanted to see if the problem would close the browser completely if it was the only window open.

It didn't. The system worked as expected in FireFox when Manager was the only tab open.

Tried in Safari - same problem unless Manager was the only page open.

Now FireFox and Safari seem to not care about how many tabs are open, and it's working as expected everywhere.

I have no idea what just happened - all seems very odd but resolved (I think...) now.

Thanks for your input everyone - and thanks once again to the MODX team: the revisions I've seen so far in 2.2 are fab.
