Files tab oddity on upgrade

Upgraded a site from 2.1 to 2.2 and the files tab is now behaving oddly. It displays the files OK, but the drop-down shows "1" instead of "Filesystem", and the drop-down arrows to the right don't work at all. This is on a localhost, so I don't think it's a corrupted javascript file problem. Any thoughts?

Have you tried setting compress_js and/or compress_css to 0 in System Settings? I know that has fixed some odd problems for people with 2.2.

I've been working with 2.2 on localhost for some time now with no problem, so I don't think that's the issue.

Media sources in general aren't working. No list of existing sources, no selection of sources for TVs. The "1" shows, but can't be selected. In Tools -> Media Sources, no media sources and no Source Types are shown.

Ok, I copied most of the core and all of the manager directories over from a working installation of 2.2. Now it's working; just not sure exactly which files did the trick.

I originally moved in the 2.2 files using the OS X "ditto" command line tool; apparently there was something that didn't replace as needed.

Just wondering if anyone can help me... I'm getting a similar issue where the "Files" tab is empty!

Just installed Modx Rev 2.2.0 for a few sites and 2 of them aren't showing the "Files" tab. I'm logging in as the default admin and haven't made any changes to the permissions etc.

Anything I can try as I'm completely lost here!
