Issue woth link when moving the web site to the root

Dear All,

I have a frustring issue.

I installed my MODx to

http://www.mywebsite.com/modx/

The now I moved it to the root.

But all of my link kept the /modx/

For example, when I want to go to contact page, my link showes

http://www.mywebsite.com/modx/contact.html

but I want to have

http://www.mywebsite.com/contact.html

Why????

many thank

I also would like to specigy that I change my htaccess
from RewriteBase /modx/ to RewriteBase /

I removed /modx/ in my contexes.

And what else? [ed. note: pierrot1010 last edited this post 14 years, 9 months ago.]

If it's just the links (not the actual URLs of the pages) then change the base tag in your templates.
