Gallery albums not visible after 2.2 upgrade

I've upgraded a couple of sites to 2.2 and the Gallery Album page under components is blank - just the buttons to create album and refresh are present. The gallery parts still function in the site itself but obviously there is no way to view or edit the existing albums. Any ideas?

I've cleared caches etc and no joy.
