Help With Articles

For the first time I'm creating a site in Revo instead of Evo. So far, not bad. However, I'm trying to use Articles to setup a blog. So far, so good except for two issues.

1. When I create a new article or blog post for the first time, the Saving Bar never goes away. I have to close the page and open a new one to get back to the manager. The article always saves, but this won't work well for my client when they start blogging. Any thoughts?

2. I've duplicated and changed both the Article Container template and the Article Template. Works fine. However, and I'm sure it's just me, I have no idea how to add "The Latest Posts" to my other templates. I'm using the same calls that are being used in the Articles templates, but nothing shows up. How do I get those items onto other templates that are outside of Articles?

Using the latest version of ModX Revo 2.2.0-rc3 and the latest version of Articles 1.4.3

1. Upgrade to Revo 2.2-pl2. If that doesn't work, post any relevant errors in your core/cache/logs/error.log file.

2. Articles comes with an "Articles" snippet (as of 1.4+) that you can place in a page:

I just installed Articles on a MAMP test page and I am blown away really. Kudos to all that put this suite together! This is way nicer than all the heavy lifting that I did setting up a blog/articles system in Evo or my early trials with Revo...

Hi Shawn,

I need a little help with my articles setup. The publishing dates are showing in english everywhere - in the articles list and in the archives list. Under system settings, DE is set for the cultureKey. It seems that it is not being read however.

Any ideas?
