After some time away from active modx work I decided to give the new revo 2.2 a shot. I'm pleased with the new manager look and espcially happy with the idea of media sources.
Unfortunately I have an annoying problem with exactly that feature
Just before I cry bug, I want to check if anyone else has a similar experience or any advice on how to solve this problem.
I can't set a media resource for an image or file TV. When I go to
myImageTV->MediaSourcesTab and double click on the source column in any context row (de, en,web), I can choose the "images" media source. but, as soon as i doubleclick on any other context or save the TV, the settings get lost,
The media source seems to work in filetree and tinymce as expected. It is listed in the dropdown and can be used. So far only TVs seem to be effected.
My media source Settings
Name: images
Settings: base_path and base_url are set to: assets/img/ both are set to relative.
Version: MODX Revolution 2.2.0-pl2 (traditional). (note: After installation, I had to switch off js/css minification in the system settings with phpMyAdmin.)
Installed extensions from repo: Babel, Code Mirrow, getResources, tinyMCE, ultimateParent,Wayfinder
In addition to that I installed: MIGx 1.1 from github.
Any ideas what going on here?
