Creating a blog in Evo1.05

I had a site that was created without the demo content originally and now I have to create a blog in it. I went to another site that uses the demo content and copied all the chunks, snippets, plugins etc that were missing in the first site and when I tried to create a blog using all the similar code etc from the second site I recieved this error:

No documents found.

The Ditto object is invalid. Please check it

I created the new resource made it a container and added the article(blog) and linked it to the new resource. Wondering what I am doing wrong and if there is a new blog tutorial for Evo 1.05 as every search I have done comes up with posts about Susan's tutorial but the links show up with a 404 error or posts that are over 6 years old linking to the same tutorial.

Okay I found this link in a different wiki then the wiki that showed up in my original search efforts but it uses newspublisher which isn't in the demo content categories on the site that already uses a blog successfully, so I'm a little confused as to whether this will work with 1.05. Anyone use this successfully with 1.05?

I have found it much better to use a customized QuickManager menu for blogs. Of course, this would depend on exactly who is posting in the blog. QM uses the Manager login to allow front-end creation and editing.

Not being a coder I just installed a fresh copy of Evo1.0.5 and transferred over all the content. Why would the error say "The Ditto object is invalid. Please check it" Can someone explain what is meant by this? What is a ditto object?

You have a mismatch between your Ditto code files in the assets/snippets/ditto folder and the Ditto snippet. Make sure you upgraded both the snippet and the files.
