with a new blog post, it changes the template ?!

Does anyone know why new blog entries are presented in a different template style?

I use modxhost as a template but have edited it lots. when i create a few test blogs they display in some of the other modx templates.

There is a plugin installed with the default content that will set the default template of the current document to that of its parent.

what should i do? delete the initial parent?

If you don’t want this to happen, disable the plugin @ Resources->Manage Resources->Plugins
Also, if you are using NewsPublisher, make sure you have either the template you want it to use specified or the template you wish to use as the site default.

thanks for your reply. i tried that and it didnt work.

However after playing about for a while i went into the configuration and i found the problem. the default template was on modx-css instead of modxhost.
