FTP client that supports directory merging

Does anyone know of a free FTP client that supports directory merging? Id prefer not to have to pay for an FTP app just to deal with MODx's ever growing complexity. I have FileZilla now but 'merge' is not an option. Thanks

Be sure to check the Prefs for Merging.

If you highlight, then drag and drop all the files into the intended directory in Filezilla, it will give you a number of options for file replacements. It's almost like merging... no?

I assume that this might be in reference to upgrading your install (http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Upgrading+MODx) If so the much quicker way I have found to do it is via my c-panel server admin panel. Obviously not everyone will have this maybe Plesk or on of the many alternatives out there but the same effect should be achievable via most of them.
