Okay, most of you will think I'm nuts, but nevertheless I'll drop my question over here.

I would like to run my (2.1.5-pl) MODx sites on MS SQL 2005 instead of MySQL (5.1.49).

Is there a way to migrate?
Or does anyone has experiences with this and advices me to set this out of my mind?
    • The Microsoft Data Migration Assistant for MySQL might help you get the data migrated, but there certainly is no way currently to do this via MODX itself. That said, it is possible that an xPDO transport package could be created of the MySQL site and then installed as a clean SQL Server site, but it would require some custom scripting to create the snapshot and install it into a working SQL Server site.
