I've been working with Revolution after switching from Evolution. Can someone please provide an example of how to set the location of the resource folder so that users cannot see the root of the public html folder when using tinyMCE resource browser. As an administrator I would still like to browse the entire root from the Modx file manager.

Try setting a filemanager_path user setting for each user.

You can also go as far as to override the system settings on a per-user basis -- in other words, you can give each user their own upload directory.
