Hi, first time post here, and a new Modx Revo 2.1.5 user, so bear with me if this has been asked before.
I did do a search, but couldn't find anything.
Anyway, I added a Context to separate another piece of work. It has two resources but I am unable to view them either as a anonymous or as an administrator.
I have added a ACL for anonymous user group, with a minimum role of member-9999 and load only.
For the user group administrator I have copied the ACL's as per the web and mgr contexts for the new context. I have flushed sessions and permissions, but this still has not worked.
    What am I missing?

    thanks in advance,

    Dave

Look at the *Context* Access ACL entry for the web context. You need one just like it for the other context so the users can see the resources in that context in the tree.

        Hi Bob,
thanks for the reply, but I still can't get any pages within my new context to appear, even as admin.
I have attached a screenshot of the permissions I had set up, they look to me they are the same as the web context for the anonymous user group.
I double checked the resources as well, and made sure they were marked as published.
        What else can I try?

It would help to know how you are initializing or switching to this additional Context you set up? How is it configured? Is it a separate domain, subdomain, subfolder? Are you switching contexts using a plugin?

hmm, think I might need to find out more about context's.

I added a separate context, without changing any defaults and added a couple of html resources. And i'm unable to view the resources either ar admin or anonymous.

You need some way, based on the client request, to decide which Context to load or switch to. Typically this requires a plugin to handle the switching, or other custom mechanism for accessing the context (custom index.php, virtual hosts, etc.). What are the Resources in this additional Context going to do, or what makes them different from Resources in the existing web Context? IOW, why are you isolating them in a particular Context?
