How can I hide longtitle, description, alias, etc in manager?

I’ve developed a site in MODx and the client is excited about being able to add/edit pages by herself but she is a little overwhelmed by all the input boxes. I feel like she’d be happier if I could disable some of these.

I don’t want to just completely hack the code up to pull the boxes out because it will just make it harder to upgrade the code if we need to. Right now the best idea I have is to make a plugin that will rewrite the page and remove certain input fields based on a regex. Can anyone think of a better way?
