After starting the process of creating an extra (using modextra as a guide), I am working my CMP now. Problem is that when I select my component from the Components menu, I get a blank page instead of the tab and grid. I get no errors that I can locate, and in fact I can write in a returned 'hello world' on both the header.php and home.php pages in the controllers/mgr/ location and they display on the CMP page. For some reason I'm not getting the panel and grid to build though.
Paths look correct. Any direction as to where to look and what to double check would be appreciated, as well as any tests to determine the breakdown. TIA

OK, figured out assets location outside the root was incorrect. Getting there little by little. It helped to reread the docs... assets = url, core = path.
