Hi,
need help.
Following happened.
Was just working on my page layout (CSS) when the connection got slowwer and slower.
Finally no more connection.
FTP still okay but the page was gone also the manager page.
Tried the www.mypage.com/mysqladmin page, got a failed to create connectio later request timed out.
This morning I got a "#1045 - Access denied for user ’noekde’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)" error.
The site (future) owner called his host and they probably reset something because now I can acces the mysqladmin page using the same username/password .
But still the site returns "An Internal server error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
Manager access returns a "failed to create a database connection, please run modx install utility"
Anybody any clue?

Sounds like your hosts MYSQL Database has maxed out or crashed, Internal server error is if the site is on a windows box sounds like the IIS Workprocess app pool has crashed.
If you contact your host Im sure they will look at fixing it.
Aaron.
okay I know nothing about these errors, but how comes the php admin page still runs. Is there a way I can verify this, because the host (melbourne IT, should be reliable) is in Melbourne and me in italy, so I want to make sure I am telling the right thing before calling them. I tried mail, but they are very slow, so.
PS just noticed in version.php that on the site with the issue the MYSQL variable mysql.allow_persistent equals On.
On another site I amrunning it is off Thought i´d mention this.

I would contact them as you have not changed anything but CSS on the site, and the site actaully went offline.
phpmyadmin could still be working as they probably have it installed on another server which is up and active, your site could be on a seperate server with a problem if you are getting access denied errors on the site to do with MYSQL another possible reason is that they have updated some security to deny remote servers access to the central mysql database server.
Hope that helps but as I say as you have changed nothing it is most definitly a problem with your host.
Thanks Aaron

Did your host explain what the problem was and why you lost a table?
I would ask them to restore it or restore it from one of your backups.
they did not and as seen above issue with lost table is resolved. At least im back in the manager.
tnx a lot
