question about max_user_connection error

I'm using heliohost.org and currently working on my personal page. I decide to give modx one more try.
I dont know whether there is a problem with server config or not, below is what I get from Error Log:


This caused me to be logged out many times of one session, and sometimes I got access denied (when accessing to System Packages).

Please help me look into this problem.

That is a MySQL server setting. It's up to your hosting; there's nothing you can do about it with MODx.

According to their website, they use MySQL version 5.0.51a.

Well, they may not actually be using that version, often the website is not updated to reflect the actual servers provided. Your phpMyAdmin interface will indicate what version is actually being used. And that still won't solve the user_resources problem. That's part of the MySQL server configuration. Shared hosting services often limit that and other server resources to make their shared server more responsive. Shared servers can have as many as 300 or 400 sites being hosted on the one server. And if it's serving web pages with the Apache web server as well as serving the MySQL database from the same server, that many sites on one server can be problematic unless they configure limits to what any one site can use.

As far as I know, the server does have a resource monitor and I cant find any point of server to be overloaded anytime in a day. However, the max_user_connection is still no value at the moment.
I've got your point that the server configuration might make only one (or some) user(s) to use httpd and mysql resources at the right time, it'll took a period of time to serve my website. If that is what they've been doing to keep this host alive for more than 5 years, It's worth doing it then.
The current version is 5.0.91. Is there any bug reported on this version of mysql server?

Other than some obscure mathematical calculations causing a server crash under certain conditions, it seems to be fine.
