I've been working my way through Bob Ray's Modx: The Official Guide. It has been an excellent way to fill in the gaps in my knowledge of Revo.
There are a couple of places where there are worked examples that involve going to the Package Manager and downloading Extras, namely, Batcher and EZfaq.
When I search for then in the Package Manager search box, they don't come up.
I suppose I could download them from their extra/package pages on the modx site. But my concern is that for some reason my Package Manager pages are not working properly. I tried with 2.0.8 and 2.1.1
There didn't seem to be a way to browse packages either in the Package Manager. I might be imagining it, but I thought I had in the past.
Are my Package Manager pages broke or am I missing something?

Haven't read the book, but I have noticed that the list of categories has been missing from the package manager's modx provider display. There's the search on the left, then the two columns of Most Popular and Newest Additons, but no category list.
Yes, that's it, I get the Most Popular and Newest Additions, but not any catagories.

Oddly enough, Batcher doesn't show up on a search on the MODx extras page either, but here's a link to it that I found in another forum post

The rtfm site has been up and down for several days now; seems to be working OK at the moment.
