sorry to ask dumb things =P
i set up the friendly urls, you can see that the links are working in the web address bar but they take for ever to load in
or else they dont and i get a page down message.
does anyone know why this wont work?

You might want to check your .htaccess file to make sure it’s done correctly, especially if your MODx installation is in a subdirectory of your web root.
(I think you forgot the link to the site in question...)
