  • Ok, I would skip the Javascript altogether and use Wayfinder with its &hideSubMenus =`1` option. What this will do is not show the submenus until the parent is the active page. It would produce the same effect, only would be acting as a live menu.

          Would like the active menu item to change color.

          It works on second and third level.

          Can't seem to find a solution for the main level.

          Container and sub menus on second level changes color - want only the active container to change color
