I would like to be able to have a search form on my site to search the content of the site, however the solutions I can find don’t do it how I would like. I have incorporated a place to put a search field in my design. I would like users to be able to type in a search term click send, and be redirected to a search results page where all results are listed and linked, perhaps with a summary, but not necessarily.

AjaxSearch returns the results in the same page. The only other search snipped I can find reference to is FlexSearchForm, but I cannot find the snippet anywhere on the MODx site. A google search pointed me to the Etomite CMS. I’m aware that MODx is a fork form Etomite, is FlexSearchForm compatible with MODx 0.9.5?

Are there any other alternatives I’ve missed?

    Thanks for the help!

AjaxSearch incorporates FSF... just turn off the Ajax Parameter and it will work just like the older FSF (Flex Search Form).

Ahh thank you very much for pointing that out. I’ll give it a go!
