    hi

i accidentally closed the browser in the middle of Janitor uninstall.

When i went back into dashboard, it said janitor was uninstalled, but that's impossible since uninstall was interrupted.

So i reinstalled janitor, with intention to then do clean uninstall. But the reinstall failed with errors saying certain janitor database objects already existed (makes sense, since the previous uninstall was interrupted)

    What should i do?

thanks [ed. note: johnywhy last edited this post 14 years, 10 months ago.]

Do you want to keep it, or not?

Is it marked as installed in Package Manager?

        Thanks for reply.

As I mentioned, It's marked uninstalled.

I don't want it now, but I don't want a corrupt modx, and I don't want remnants in my db or directories.

I might want it later, but it won't install.

Is there a cleaner function that cleans out obsolete stuff?

        Thanks!

I would try right clicking on it and selecting "Remove Package."

That will delete the transport package and may remove the leftover stuff. If not, you should be able to delete the pieces manually. Once any plugins have been removed, it shouldn't have any effect on the site any more.
