subdomains not working

Hello,

I have 2 virtual subdomains set pointing to 2 diff directories on same server ie
1) com1.com is pointing to /var/www/com1 and com2 is pointing var/www/com2.
2) I have same website in both the directories only diff is i have just upgraded com2
3) when i open com2 home page it opens properly
4) all the subdomains on com1 are working only com2 subdomains arent working properly, i mean when i open sub1.com2.com it shows com1 home page.

I have solved this issue before by setting http_host, base_url, site_url and .htaccess, but this time none of them are working for me

Is there anyone ??

i am not getting where is the fault in virtual host configuration or modx settings ?? how can i make sure ??

It's really hard to say what's going on here, but there should be a simple way to test whether the problem is related to MODX. Just upload a static file to one of the com2 subdomains, and then try to view the static file in the browser.

Freejung : I am using contexts for subdomains, so there is no separate directory for a subdomain..

I am still facing this error
One more thing i would like to add is,

when i mouse over on any link i see url like this
"www.web1.com/pages/about" but when i click on it what comes up is
"www.web2.com/pages/about" there is something thats redirecting it to "Web2", i have changes paths in all config file like "core/config/config.inc.php" and other config files in dirs like "connectors" etc how can i find it ? is there anyhitng else i am missing ??
