i am pretty new to modxcms and i must say i really like it.

but before i like to go further with this good cms system i have a little question :

Does php safe mode need to be off for this cms ?

No, but if it’s on you need to be very careful with paths to make sure they are within your web root. Sometimes a relative path tries to use the filesystem / (root) instead of the webroot / (www.mysite.com/).
