    I try to use this slimbox for my pages and I follow the instructions on their site.

    I don’t want make a photo gallery but use the effect on some photos in my pages.
    Maxigallery seem complicated for me.

    So, I put the files "mootools.js" and "slimbox.js" in "assets/js" folder of modx installation and I add the content of "slimbox.css" in my css file ("stile.css")

    This is the head section of my template
    <head>
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
        <title>[*pagetitle*] :: [(site_name)]</title>

        <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="[(base_url)]assets/templates/dmtemplate/stile.css" />

        <base href="[(site_url)]" />

        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/js/mootools.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/js/slimbox.js"></script>

        <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/js/funzioni.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript">window.onload = externalLinks;</script>
    </head>

    In photo page I have
    <a href="assets/images/photo.jpg" rel="lightbox" title="photo"><img src="assets/images/photo\.jpg" width="300" height="225" alt="photo" /></a>

    When I click on photo link the result is a new window browser with a photo without the effect embarrassed

    Where is the error?

    If I use this script in standalone work correctly. See attach file.

      Are you sure that you have the correct version from mootools libs and that all paths point to correct places? Could you give a link to the site?

      Edit: Btw, this post should be in general support or off topic, because it’s not maxigallery related
