Why do you have an HTML 5 icon and link to the validator when your template is XHTML 1.0 transitional?
Wait until 2.2 is released and you can upgrade and use the Articles extra. It's fantastic; the MODx killer app of the year.
I have checked out www.manya.pe. Many interesting details! I love the jumbo pulldown menu! Maybe you could hide the left block of extra menu? it disturbs the asymetric/diagonal header constellation! It is an element which symmetric construction— it fights against the right side!
Impressive sites! Could you tell me (us) some details of construction? Do you use special plugins, and how are they arranged (what are your snippet-calls)?
Alvaro:
- cool slider work horizontal and vertical
- maybe you dont have to condense the font of the main navigation. Also a bit more letter-spacing will be good for light apperance.
Peruviansoul:
- very dynamic site
- the 3 main buttons in the header dont hold the line (especially if you change the font-size of browser)
ALVARO
1. – We used the following snippets:
* getResources
* FormIt
* getResourceField
* MIGX
* phpThumbOf
* TinyMCE
2. Note that horizontal images are resized to the resolution of the monitor, occupying all the space in the browser. To achieve this we used the a piece of javascript code, which calculates the size of the resolution.

* getPage
* getResourceField
* MIGX

The rest is all jquery and CSS
About ALVARO, I agree, but it was the customer's preference.
About PERUVIAN SOUL, thanks for the comment ... I have not seen it before
