    See package: http://modx.com/extras/package/churcheventscalendar

    It should install via the package manager.

    I would be great if others could do some testing on it and report issues on github: https://github.com/jgulledge19/Church-Events-Calendar/issues.

    Thanks

        Can it be used to display a single day's events? Or events occurring each day on a two or three day convention?

          1.0 Beta3 now has Day, Week, Month and Year views. Day, Week and Month views will show all events for that period of time. You can click on any event to see its full description view. The Year view will show how many events are on a day. All views are customizable via Chunks. I will be enhancing the Day view today, currently it is supper basic.

              Hi,

              I have got this working locally and all looks good so far with basic testing.
              I want to change the weekdays to shortened versions so they fit within a smaller width calendar.
              i have found this chunk: ChurchEvents_CalColumnHeadTpl
              <!-- these are the Day of the week, headings -->
              <th>
              	[[+weekDay]]
              </th>

              But where is [[+weekDay]] in order for me to make this change?

              Thanks

              J

                @9thwave

                If you are asking how to make Sunday like Sun and Monday like Mon, then you just need to override the Lexicon for those days. Go to System -> Lexicon Management then search for Churchevents from the drop down. Search for days and you will also see lots of other options there. See the docs: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Internationalization for more information about Lexicons.

                The Lexicons that you are looking for are as follows:

                • churchevents.monday
                • churchevents.tuesday
                • churchevents.wednesday
                • churchevents.thursday
                • churchevents.friday
                • churchevents.saturday
                • churchevents.sunday

                @TomMLS

                Can you give more info or file a bug report: https://github.com/jgulledge19/Church-Events-Calendar/issues?

                  Thanks:-)

                  if an event needs cancelling and there are multiple occurences of this event how does the user cancel them?
                  Is this just via the db currently?

                  Thanks for your help.

                    Hi calendar experts smiley

                    I am looking for a solution for a task as I am building a website for a client.
                    What I need is a method to book times in a calendar for registered/logged in users.
                    It would be for a renting solution eg. renting boats.
                    There will be multiple items to be rented.

                    Any ideas on what route to take or if there is already something similar done in modx?

                    thx
