I have a major issue that I haven't seen before in ModX Evo where all my links in wayfinder bring up the exact content of the homepage, even though the friendly URL's are correct. Even the page title is the same. The issue goes away when I am logged in. The templates haven't been altered but I did try to create some new user accounts the other day (fiddling with permissions to learn the system) and I think that may have done something. I ended up saying the hell with it and deleted all the user groups etc to bring it back to the base installation permissions.
Can anyone help me out? We are a political site and the clock is ticking! THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME!

They are published but I'm not sure how to ensure they are available publicly under web user permissions. I hate to ask but could you walk me through it, just the steps to take? I have no user groups or resource groups at all but I did try some permissions work earlier for manager users... I realized it wasn't worth it and deleted all the resource and user groups. I know that must have done something.

To see the relevant view, just click on a document in the resources tree on the left. If it opens for editing, click on Cancel, and you'll be in the "view data" screen. Otherwise you'll be there straight away. Look in the block headed "Status". Re groups etc., note that there are separate groups under Security for Manager permissions and Web permissions.
It may help you track down the problem if you create pages for "404" Page not found and "403" Permission denied. You can choose these to be shown in the corresponding situations via Tools . Configuration > Site instead of every error taking you to the home page.
