[SOLVED] Figured this one out. Didn't know I could make adjustments in the Plugin! [SOLVED]
I have a script installed that is using the following version of jquery:
<script type="text/javascript" src="assets/templates/adc/javascripts/jquery-1.7.min.js"></script>
This is the first script my template calls. When I log in and use the front end editing of modx the script that I'm using breaks. It's a carousel of photos and they cover the whole page making it hard to see the site for editing. I noticed that when logged in Modx adds the following link:
<script src="http://automatic.server260.com/assets/js/jquery-1.4.4.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
I'm guessing that this is whats used for the front end editor, but it is obviously causing a problem with the newer version of jquery. It's loading last so I'm guessing its taking precedence over the newer one.
Is there a way to disable the older jquery? Will the front end editing work with the newer one that I have installed for my script?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm a designer and I'm never really sure how to fix these issues. I don't want to break anything, but I would really like to be able to edit the pages without having the bulk of the page blocked by images.
