Here's my setup:
MODx Revolution 2.1.5-pl
MySQL 5.0.92
PHP 5.2.17
OX Linux
Web Server : Apache 2.2.19
I follow the instructions (two contexts - two directories) in the Modx The Official Guide word by word.
My context is name domain2 with two pages, home page and error page
Context setting : site_start, base_url, site_url, http_host
ACL for context domain2
Anonymous 9999 Load, list and View
Administrator 0 Administrator
I created an add-on domain via CPanel
Name: domain2.com
Directory : /public_html/domaine2.com
I can access to the home page of my add-on domain with www.domain2.com but here my problems :
1) when I click on a link in the home page to go to an another page in domain2 i got 404 page (the error page of my master domain)
2) Also when I am in the manager I cannot preview the pages of the domain2 I got a 404 (the error page my of master domain)
3) When I type www.domain2.com in the address bar I see www.domain1.com/domain2.com at the home page, I was expect to see only www.domain2.com is it normal?
I also tried the Belafonte method for setting up multiple domains, and I got the same results.
Thank for answering
I forgot to mention that I have the site_url and base_url is set for the web context and I include my base URL <base href="[[++site_url]]" /> in my template for domain2.
Could it be a FURL problem????
Try using this:
<base href=[[!++site_url]]" />
and make sure you have the correct context setting for site_url for both contexts (on the settings tab when editing the context).
Sorry, if my explanations was a little bit unclear, my first language is french and when I write in English, I first write in French and then translating to English.
Setting for both context are correctly and all my templates include <base href=[[!++site_url]]" />.
By the way thank you very much for your excellent book, it is an invaluable aid for me.

Not at the moment, apparently.
Sorry about the trouble. I tested that code carefully, but it was a long time ago and things may have changed. I'll try to take a look at it if I have time.
