    Quip is installed and functioning great, with some test threads done. I can see and manage entries through the manager while logged in as admin. But, while logged in as a lower level editor, I can see the Quip component in the manager and can open up the Quip component, but no threads are visible for management. I figured it was something in the lower level editor's access policy and tried switching things on and off, but either I missed something or there is a particular set of on/off combinations required...I don't know.

    Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should be looking for? Thank you in advance.

      One other thing I noticed is that while logged into the control panel as the lower level editor, within the Quip component, where the list of threads should appear, it says 'Access Denied'. Like mentioned before, I cannot see within the access policy where that would need to be set. Also, I did flush permissions whenever I changed permission related things. While logged in as administrator, everything appears and performs fine.

      Thanks in advance.

        Bit of a late reply, but for the sake of an answer being here for others who search:
        When you install Quip there is a new context policy template added, specifically for moderating Quip.

        So you need to add this context policy for your user group.

        • Go to Security > Access Controls
        • In User groups -> update user group (right click on user group name)
        • Click on Context Access tab, and then the Add Context button

        The settings should be:
        Context = mgr
        Member = whatever you need (or member)
        Access Policy = Quip Moderator Policy
