    Hi Guys,
For some really strange reason I cant create a directory in the modx revo file manager say root/videos and upload a file of any sort or size without getting Access Denied and the below error

The webserver does not have the necessary permissions to add a directory there

I have chmod of 777 on the directory and also tried 755. Applied it via filezilla and the file manager itself. I also increased the php max upload file size via htaccess to 300M (phpinfo shows it as 300M - had same issues when it was at 16M) and via the System Settings. The file extensions i test are also "allowable" as per system settings. I can however upload to root/images without issue. Any idea guys how to trouble shoot this?
I also tried creating any directory in case video was a reserved word or something but same issue. Does anything in modx define folder naming prerequisites?
    Any help appreciated! smiley

As an aside given the above setting - if i try and upload a 19MB mp4 I get access denied to directories that do allow smaller fileuploads? Is there a workaround please. I have everything set to accept files well in excess of 19MB

Thanks [ed. note: howster last edited this post 14 years, 10 months ago.]

Solved - I had to adjust htaccess using:

        php_value upload_max_filesize 100M
        php_value post_max_size 100M
        php_value max_execution_time 800000

They were set at 16M..may help others . Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
