Hi, is there a way to change the user file’s propietary that maxigallery puts when uploading an image, in my case when I access via ftp the galleries directory I can see that the files uploaded by some webuser has as propietary the user "apache" but that’s not my ftp user so I get errors when trying to download files from ftp

The file is uploaded by a PHP script, and that script runs as the Apache user. There isn’t anything to do about that; that’s the way your server is configured.
Try using the MODx file manager (Resources -> Manage Files) to download your images. It is also a PHP script, so it can access the files the MaxiGallery script uploads.
