i've got a TV (image) my editors special permissions group cant see the TV in editting the resource.
So i checked the permissions for the TV... and i can't figure out where to set them?
i cant see it in any browser on OSX

Edit the Resource Group Access in Access Control (ACL). Most likely the Access Policy doesn't allow your Editors to see the TV due to the ACL.

I checked and the resource group has acces. even the administrator can't add an acces permission to the TV. see the attachment.
so where can i set these permissions?

Make sure the TV is attached to the template used by the resource.
It could also be subject to an Element Category Access ACL entry if there is one, or it could be hidden by a Form Customization rule.
ACL permissions are set under Access Controls on the Top Menu (on the User Groups tab) by right-clicking on a user group and selecting "Update User Group".

yep the TV is attached to a template and no it's not hidden through Form Cust. I don't think that is even possible.
The user group 'Administrator' has no categories , so i assume it has acces to all.
What i'm missing is the button 'Add Group' in thje permissions tab. or am imissing something? see attachement on my first post

Just double checking: you said the Resource Group's Access Policy is Load List and View the Mgr Context.

One can't "Add Group" to a TV that I know of; it's handled by the ACL.
Just so you know, MODX ACLs are perhaps over the top. I find it complicated to where I have to start by duping the Policy Template, duping an Access Policy, editing both, clearing cache, Flush Permissions, Flush all permissions, and manually deleting the core/cache directory, logging in as a User in whatever Permission group I'm trying to perfect... all that to make sure I've got everything bomber perfecto.
Any time I edit an Access Policy, I clear out everything.
I guess this is my way of saying that helping you troubleshoot Access Permissions requires patience.

I have the same issue my content editors can view all TV's except for the Image TV. What setting have i overlooked or is this a bug?
An update -
I solved this my moving my Image TV to another category that the editors can see so at least now they can add images
My question though is where are these categories set? How do i set my image category to be available to content editors too?
Just drag and drop the TV onto the category in the Tree.
