    Hi folks.

Like a few others, I’m after a way for webusers to add TV values using Newspublisher snippet (please let me know if there are any developemnts regarding this, ive trawled this forum for 2 days, to no avail).

The next best alternative, I thought, would be to use the blogContent tv, as in the demo - and let the webuser add all sorts of stuff as content (images, flash, text etc), so I want to extend the toolbar buttons to ’full’ in the RTE widget (modx 0.9.5) - but it doesnt seem to have the same toolbar options that the older versions of modx did (as seen at http://www.modxcms.com/richtext-box-widget.html).

I understand also that there may be some issues with webusers permissions to resource browse the server as discribed in http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Resource_browser_in_Newspublisher, the line changes for tinymce arent in that config file it says to edit...

A bit confused as usual, but any guidance would be gratefully accepted. Falling at this hurdle may well kill this project, so I eagerly await any feedback on this =)

got an answer to my first question:

richtext editor toolbar display settings are in resources>manager resources>plugins>tinymce (or fckeditor)>Configuration>Web Theme (or Web Toolbar Set).

the second bit - about letting the web user have resource access through the RTE: change the code in the config file as discribed.. the other code change isnt in that config filr, its in the plugin script... i either didnt see that bit or misread it - but it works for me now (tinymce on modx0.9.5)

next mission for me is ’web user specific resource folders’ - wish me luck, or advice? (i’m not sure how thats gonna work!)

      regards

hi all - with the arrival of TinyMCE 2.1.1.1 and MODx 0.9.6 - I was wondering if any smart cookies out there had looked to see how the plugin script changes effect this. these mod instructions dont work on TinyMCE 2.1.1.1...
