One Page Site Strategies

I'm getting requests for these one page sites like these:

Does anyone have any experience with coding these?
I am imagining the user would still create each page separately and then maybe a getResources call for content for each page to be called into the single page? Also sort of destroys Wayfinder default behaviour, would have to link to anchors.

There are a lot of ways to do this sort of thing. AJAX comes to mind, with your menu links triggering AJAX calls to fetch the desired content.

If you use named anchors for the sections, you could still use Wayfinder with a custom row tpl that generates links to the anchors instead of to separate pages; your getResources call would use a tpl to generate the anchors themselves.

As is usual with MODx, your limits will be your imagination!
