getResources - Filter by date

Ahhh well done... We're getting closer!

The getTime is now showing a string of time. It's not filtering though, if I use -7 or +7 and play with the publishedon dates it will show days outside the 7 days. Ideally I need it to show resources that will be unpublished in the next 7 days because this will work as a "What's on this Week" events widget.

This is the call I've been using with the 'publishedon' just to try and get your example to work.

Great! You also can try to play with the "<=" signs. This can also be ">=" or som other operators.

I think I see why it's not working. If I put [[*unpub_date]] in the [[+unpub_date]] or [[+publishedon]] in the ThisWeekTpl template it outputs something like "2011-12-11 16:48:00". How do I tell the call to output a string of time?

I tried this but it didn't work:

The output is a datetime but the database field should be a timestamp

Okay, thanks for confirming that. Do you know why the 'where' filter doesn't stick to the -7 or +7 days?

I'm using the latest getResources.

I tried it and did some debugging...
I printed the query which is generated and in there I see that the snippet name is being printed in the where element for this one. This should be parsed but it isn't.

when I remove the ! in the getTime call then the timestamp is shown in the query and not the snippet tag. This is very strange to me, maybe someone else knows how?

Can you try without the ! in the getTime snippet call to see of that is working for you also?

Thats great! But calling it uncached will not improve the performance... maybe someone can tell me/us why the uncached getTime call is not working as expected??

What version of MODX are you running this on? If using 2.1.x, make sure you are updated to 2.1.5-pl.

I do have 2.1.5, dont know what Vitalized is using, but the issue is also at 2.1.5
